Trinity’s interest in CHEOP blossomed after completing the 2023 Science Enrichment Preparation (S.E.P) Program. Her experiences in summer enrichment through CHEOP elevated her passion to become a physician. Trinity plans to dedicate her work as a physician to providing care for patients in economically depressed communities. She is passionate about addressing healthcare disparities that disproportionately harm minority communities. Trinity is excited for the opportunity to make an impact with CHEOP. She is interested in Pediatrics and Endocrinology and feeds her passion for service by volunteering at UNC Hospitals weekly in the Inpatient Pediatric Rehabilitation Clinic. Along with CHEOP, Trinity embraces other UNC campus activities. She serves as the Event Coordinator for UNC Blue Lightning, a Stomp-N-Shake cheerleading organization. She also enjoys mentoring African-American middle school students through her role as a mentor in UNC’s Magik G.L.O.W organization. Trinity is also a member of the Health Careers Club and the Black Student Movement. In her free time, she enjoys reading, exercising, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
