ABOUT Nakia Hill

Nakia Hill serves as the NC-HCAP Outreach Coordinator for the Carolina Higher Education Opportunity Programs (CHEOP) Office. As the NC-HCAP Outreach Coordinator, she is responsible for program planning and implementation across Pre-college and College initiatives. Examples of Pre-College programming include, but are not limited to, Health Careers Day on the Hill, Health Careers Information and Enrichment Workshops, and NC-HCAP’s Health Sciences and Leadership Academy. Examples of College programming include, but are not limited to, serving as Program Coordinator for the Science Enrichment Preparation (S.E.P.) Program, Advisor to the NC-HCAP Health Careers Club and Advisor to the Health Careers and Research Pipeline Program for Males. Mrs. Hill also provides academic and career counseling to both Pre-college and College students.
Mrs. Hill earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from East Carolina University and a Master of Arts Degree from Appalachian State University.
